Active PDF

Active PDF approached Web Associates in desperate need of a redesign. While having an existing brand, with established logo and color schemes, their existing web site failed to support their position as a leading PDF software provider. Active PDF’s main sales channel is their web site, offering secure sales and downloads. Their existing site was poorly structured and hampered their sales effort.

After extensive time spent with Web Associates’ information architecture department, the design department tackled an interface design that would successfully convey Active PDF’s brand and drive increased sales of their software. Everyone in the department took different approaches within the parameters provided by the client.

The design shown here represents my effort to present a simplified, structured approach to the home page. A colleague’s composition was chosen for the final design, and both he and I worked to implement a back page design.
